MadDog
Gahayr is the man named after the somali national University, and yes he is the man who translated all school science books from grade 1 to form 4 from English to somali, a man who refused to be appointed minister and choose intead to teach in the university that he already set up single handedly.
The only Somali man who was treathen by siyaad to take the ministrial post or risk go jail, and choose the jail over the ministrial job.
If you are saying that the Isaaq dont have rapist, killers, gencidals,
Maniacs, sadists, you are whole heartedly right we dont produce such a wastefull pple to this beautiful world rather we make pple of hight clibre
such as Egal, Galal, Hadrawi.
To give a small living example the man called AxmedS!!laanyo was SNM leader for the most 6 defficult years of its history earned himself a tough leader and lost the leadership to A/Rahmaan Tuur furthermore he lost Somaliland election to Rayaale and remain oppostion leader to provide for the country a healthy balance democracy to persue the main and the common issue which is recognition.
What we dont have is that talent of yours of inheratence that even worlordsim become part of the family interprice, but in our case WE CREAT NATION BUT IN YOURS YOUR MAIN TALENT IS TO DISTOREY YOUR OWN HOME, SCHOOL, HOSPITAL,ROADS, POLICE STATIONS
Siyaad, Sayid, are your heros so is Hitler to Germany, Franco to Spain
Mugabi to Zimbabwe,Saddam to Iraq,Mangistu to Ethiopia.
the poll question is bit vague, it doesn't ask positive or negative instead it asks of an impact so I assume either is required of here.

I give my vote as follows

1, Maxamed Siyad Barre - mostly negative impact, I mean he is mostly to blame for the troubles we are in today. However, the man was not all evil, his best contribution to Somalia was his sucessful Somali literacy initiative.

2, Imam Axmed Gurey & Sayid Maxemed Abdulle Hassan - for building the basis of Somali nationalism and self determination.

3, President Abdulahi Yusuf - this man is responsible for many changes in Somalia's modern changes and is still changing the political land escape. he introduced the federal system which is adopted as the govermental platform in Somalia, this system suits the clanish nature of Somalia. if he restores Mogadisho's security and restores law and order back to Southern Somalia, a feat that he is able to achieve given the current political natative, he will move to the top of the list for sure.

3, SYL leaders

lol, AY is a dumb ass warlord, he was given a once in a lifetime chance, with almost everyone in the country willing to look past his baggage, but being the moron that he is, he said kusoo fadhiista. Laughing Now every lil kid wants to see him six feet deep. Laughing He has only himself to blame for that.
