Whats a good pre-workout

Postby Bro » Fri Mar 14, 2014 5:54 pm

I've tried No xplode which did nothing for me, I'm currently taking C4, This stuff doesn't do much for me either, I use to take Mr Hyde for quite sometime, I loved the energy I got from it at the gym but I had to stop taking it because it messes my stomach up, what's a good one like Mr Hyde minus the troubles. Any recommendations?

I only tried xplode before and I didnt feel anything and on top of that I dont believe this stuff is good for the body.

Today I only use proteinshake afterwards and if Im tired or need to focus I just drink coffe before the training.

You should move to Somalia, fresh food, fresh juice, the sun, the beach and a good local gym.

If only Somalia was peaceful, we could had enjoyed it so much. :( But inshaAllah in the future we enjoy it to the fullest.

My top advice, don't bother with any energy supplements. Just have good sleeping pattern and eat good. Also drink plenty of water

The only pre-work out supplement I have used are Jack3D and Nano vapors at the beginning of works out.helped me have great workouts. Nothing gittery or anything, just a little tingle. However, I don't use any pre-workouts anymore :)

Substance, I agree no xplode is bs and a waste of money, I usually experiment around until I find what works for me, I'm giving Mr Hyde a break tho but I'll get back to it probably when I finish whats left of C4. Nonetheless I take my whey 100 protein+bcaa+glutamine+creatine all jumbled in one shake for pre-workout and I make the same mix for post-workout, I went from 105 to 109kg of muscle gains so far this year. Inshallahi my goal is to get massive between 115-120kg by the end of this year, nevertheless proteins are a must

Depends what food you buy and how they cook it. But Somalia has fresh veg and fresh meat, very nice.

I've tried in no particular order;
-No xplode; gave me huge cramps
-Jac3d; Great during work our but a huge crash the next day
-Crase; This is a good one
-White flood; My current
Was actually gonna try C4 this week..

I think you should try the daddy of pre workouts Dorian yates NoX Pump or Whiteflood.

I have exactly the same as you.

Gold standard
Creatine mono
Animal stack
for Bcaa I use xTEND its intro work out and brings you back to life during every set..

^ Most cases, I need a push after a long day of skool, studying, and work, Pre-workouts give me that extra boost to get me through my day!

Skywalker, Good to see another lifter in this crazy forum, Xtend is the shidh, I've used it before but when it comes to bcaa's I stick to ON brand. btw have you tried HMB pills or are you familiar with them ? basically what it does is reserve your muscles from being consumed by your body during absence of food for a long duration (ramadan). What are your take on them?
-
Marques, The supplement market is a big scam, you just need the basics, which are protein, creatine, bcaa, glutamine, and a good test booster, such as dextrose (don't take it, if your under 25). Everything else is irrelevant. Protein shakes although I haven't experienced any side effects, but you don't have to take it all the time as long as you're eating high protein meals throughout the day. On days I don't take protein shakes, I eat about any where around 3-5 pounds of steak, chicken, or ground beef which ever I feel like cooking that day, 3-4 eggs periodically throughout the day. Just remember high protein foods
