Syrian Army liberated 48 hostages under the noose of Isis terrorists
Couple of Syrian Arab Army Special Operation Unit were able to liberate 48 captured soldiers, officers and civilians from al-Tabaqa in al-Raq`a. The operation started when the units stacked extra arms and ammunition than needed into two civilian trucks, and disguised as civilians. The trucks took the rout the terrorists use to smuggle stolen Syrian oil across the borders to sell it in Turkey, a rout full of terrorists from ISIL and other al-Qaeda linked groups. Units were in direct coordination with Syrian Arab Air Force and SAA units who where ready to intervene if anything goes wrong.
They reached a small safe house where based on intelligence data the prisoners were kept, with minimal engagement they managed to free them. They re-armed the rescued soldiers and officers just in case using the extra arms and ammunition they stacked. Finally the trucks reaches their destination, all 48 liberated soldiers, officers and civilians were unharmed.
Operation succeeded , zero casualties.
