But you forget that multi-nicking arose to counter the despotic moderation of the new breed of Mods. There's too much censorship. There were fewer nicks in the golden age of the board when gays like Afdeer tussled with Islamists like Aiman who were in turn roughed up by atheists like Dhuusa Deer. Nobody used fake nicks because nobody was banned for expressing an opinion. It was a beautiful time. But now you have tin pot dictators censoring everyone they dislike and hence the explosion of fake IDs.
The odd fruitcake like Jalaaludin hiding under a new cabaayo is a lesser evil than tyranny.
Still, there are some competent Mods who respect difference. I salute Basra, Le Justicier, Lamagoodle, Abdiwahab and Hyperactive.
