Her Royal Grace; If there is a word that I abhor in the Somali language, it is ”Huuno”. I thought it was an innocuous word until a few years ago. I was visiting friends in Germany, when I visited a Somali politician who was seriously ill in hospital. He was accompanied by a “huuno” chanting concubine who referred to everyone including the doctors and nurses to as “Huuno”. It was Huuno this, Huuno that. On his deathbed when I and a friend visited him, she asked in a loud voice; Huuno laba mijimood noogu dir inamada! He was too weak to reply but my repugnance towards the word was shaped.JaalleMarx

It is still common, I guess; but there are dark forces bent on a crusade against human "pulls". SO, I guess it has become clandestine.Shalabow, that is it.What joy it is always to hear of those days.Is it still common?Shalabow; it is very common throughout the villages and towns on the jubba river.
