This.

A guide to a useless program segment

-Share personal anecdote
-Make irrelevant nonsensical arguments
-Illustrate why issue matters with hyperbole
-Hope something sticks to viewers

Bless her heart but cringeworthy.

She is lucky for not having any children. I know a Divorced- Xaliimo with Jamaican kid and everyone keep at distance while she's around. :(

Telling people what not to do makes them more inclined to do it. Somali guys should really stop complaining and trying to prevent interracial marriages. If a female intends on marrying out for any reason, she will do it should the opportunity occur.

lol .. I don't know why she would even do something like this. Maybe she felt by doing this she would have some kind of redemption :? but tbh I don't really care if you married to a foreigner. You don't know what paths life has set out for us and marrying foreigners maybe was intended if that's what happens. Me personally I don't think I would get married to non-Somali girl but you never know what will happen. BTW does anyone know what she means by foreigner ??.. is it foreign like gaal or just ajinabi ??

She is gorgeous but then she had to open her mouth. :?

Again, I am against marriage in totality. Its a backwards, unnatural state of affairs.

Not a convincing argument. Just repeating some conventional wisdom.

Somali women are not saints; thus, I don't understand her male bashing.

“We would lose our religion as somaliens” ! kulaha

She has a point though; we have a surplus of educated women among diaspora somalis. The smart men pool is not that large.

I don't see an issue with a Somali woman marrying a foreigner or even a male Somali intermarrying for that matter. The fact that the topic itself gives off sexist bias should be enough to turn off anyone who is educated. Every human is equal, simple as that. The only thing stopping people from intermarrying are the ones who look on in horror and disapproval. Don't depend on a marriage to carry on your heritage. Take the time to show your child how great their Somali heritage is, even if they do have a little Chinese in them ;)
