Correcting a child is part of raising them, if you've married someone with a child then yac in aad dhihi kartid waaye. Imagine if your step-dad or mum said not my problem, not my kid. That would probably hurt a lot more than a dacas.

jas, passed of sensitivity of the issue, I would point to his mom/ my wife. cause these things happened so much and kids more often a victim.

I like the western system that government clearly states, under child abuse. we need to protect the weak, one even if we go that far.

I wouldn't mind correcting verbally, I may add very nice way.

I just do not like our law that doesn't protect women and kids , I mean by "ours" muslims in general.

Oh you mean hitting in general. Then yes, I agree with you, not just step kids though, you shouldn't hit your biological kids either.

it is very cheap and is forced by law at least minimum insurance. our insurance get a lot of money cause majority do not use insurance claim, thinking is haram.

I remember in the court,' a guy killed some one in accident and parents of the victim refused insurance money and that happens all the time.

If you get into an accident, does the amount you pay increase?
