Dude people outside the west do get it wrong when it comes to dressing like Westerners. Nothing fruity about them, it just looks very bad and fobbish.

A fob means, "fresh off the boat", a migrant who has difficulty adjusting to the norms their new host country. These people are chilling in the motherland, dressing and behaving in ways that you would think that they're homo, hence why they're fruity.
