They have a better squad than Italy tho. I'm sure they can beat the Talyani and Ecuador and maybe get a tie with Uruguay. That's 7pts which gets them through to the next round.

My boy CR isn't 100% fit hopefully he will be on the opening day.

Italy sucks I can't believe that maniac Jose M has them going far in the tournament. England and Uruguay should be top of that group respectively. If England doesn't get out of that group walahi they will be considered the most overrated national team to ever grace a football field.
Lol Italy sucks? Let's compare Italy to England:

Goalkeepers, Italy wins hands down unless you think Hart is better than Buffon

Defence, Italy has Juve's trio of Chiellini, Andrea Barzagli and Bonucci...England Cahill and Jagielka, enough said Italy wins. Midfielders, England have Gerrard and Henderson/Barkley vs Italy's Pirlo and De Rossi. Italy win again since they have two world class players. Attacking midfielders Lallana or Sterling vs Marchisio...I'm going with Marchisio. Finally Rooney vs Balotelli is 50/50 it depends on who turns up, but Rooney hasn't scored in like 25 international games :|

Walahi I love how delusional England supporters are, before ever major tournament they believe in the hype. I expect Italy to win the group and England to scrape through but wouldn't be surprised if they were Uruguay finished 2nd.

 Rossi isn't going to the world cup. He's injured and has been since December. Nvm heard his fit but not 100% and that's why the coach left him out. I like England's chances of advancing Sxb Italy aren't the same no more. Btw I'm not an England supporter, I support Portugal. 8-)

Lol NotThatCabdi forgive me I mixed the two Rossi's. The one that I was referring to was the one born in the states
not De Rossi. He was suppose to play in the front with Mario but do to his fitness won't now. Btw Americans don't like Rossi and are saying he deserves this cause he turned down their offer. all though if he did he would've been going to his second World Cup but so far he hasn't even been to one. His grandfather says he will root for the USA over Italy cause of the way they treated his grandson.

Italy sucks? lolwut. Stop listening to Sky bro with their "EPL the best league in the world"bs. Italy is the biggest football nation in Europe, period. 4 times world champions brah.
Just in the last 20 years they have played the 94 WC final, 2000 Euro final, 2006 WC final (won) and 2012 Euro final. The ought to be respected.

I don't have sky sports and neither do I live in the UK. Ok I might have gotten carried away a bit but I still have England advancing. :pac:

You have England advancing based on the hype, but when reality sets in Pirlo will have more passes than the entire midfield of the Englishmen.
Just today this is what the legendary Scholes said: "Pirlo is the complete footballer. Give him time and space and he will destroy you, "He's such a clever player and is so composed. If surrounded he'll lay it off. If he's got room he's devastating.

"Even though England's Euro 2012 game against Italy finished 0-0, we paid nowhere near enough attention to him.

"Pirlo is not renowned for his athleticism, and he's 35 now, but that day he ran 11.58 kilometres, more than any England player.

"He also had more passes (131) than England's four starting midfielders.
:damn:
"Roy Hodgson seems to have underestimated him in 2012, which surprised me given Alex Ferguson tactics previously to stifle Pirlo.

"We cannot make the mistakes of 2012 again."
