I didn't know we were that bad untill others started commenting. I've had friends say to me on a couple of occasions. The older generation really problem uma arkaan and bring up their daughters the same way. There's definitely an obesity epidemic sweeping the Somali communities in Europe, Khaliijka and recently even Somalia. It was almost nonexistant before, fat people didn't exist but now judging from the videos coming out of there ...more and more chubbier women are to be seen.

Why is it so bad though? Many peoples Somali here isn't the best {myself included} yet we make efforts to speak in it every so often. For someone who bangs on about Somalia in every post, constantly belittling others in the process...you make no effort whatsoever. All your posts, every single one of them is in English.

Because...I don't live in Somalia. I'm also probably exaggerating my lack of profiency. I've been back home three times and nobody's ever had a problrm with my somali. I also post only in english because most people here are diaspora who also post in english. What has that to do with my political views on Somalia? Does it make it less a shithole?
