In this new era of federalism, the 5 points on the Somalia star have been redefined. They now stand for the 5 federal states of the Federal Government of Somalia. Jubbaland, Pirateland, SouthWestland, iyo 2 left to be formed.

Guul shanta Zoomalian AU Protectorate

khalid aliu your tottaly wrong.. Somali republic was born 26 june 1960 and more than 10 years it was known south and north somaliya will be reunited under somali lead free goverment. actually when SYL was born 1943 whole Somalia north and south was Under british goverment.. idea of uniting somaliya under one goverment was not born only that 4 days 26 june to 1 july...

1943 to 1954 Somalia north and south was under british...... and 1954 british ku haray north and south was under UN and Italy and somali lead intrim goverment lead by Abdulaahi ciiise and the blue flag was allready in use mogadishu....

the country which was born 26 june 1960 had the blue flag which was already in mogadishu and was known south will be independent in 4 days to complete the newly born nation called Somali republic also known as Somaliya..

believe me no one in the earth will allow Somaliya to be divided in semi clan republic and last 23 years no one has recogniced so called somaliland no one will ever willl,,

yes a qabiil dream can claime their qabiil towns to be independent. and whole international community know hargeysa goverment has no controll of almost 50% what was former british somaliland borders...

Thats lies the italians had only six month control over Somaliland the Brits ruled 4 years after they defeated the italians but they placed under a trustee ship un supervision this started in 1950 so there was no british control over the walanweyns in that period the Italian trustee ship started in 1950 not in 1954
SYL were walanweyns we had nothing to do with them we had our own parties SNL USP and NUF , And the rest of your cantrabaqash is just nonsense Somaliland controls 97% of SL territory

first in english both South somaliya and north somaliya was called Italian-somaliland and british-Somaliland.
and yes a all latin languages they often add the nationalies names as (A) lIKE indians( INDI(A),

Italian language map yes south was called Somalia-italiana and yes also north was called Somalia-brittanica.

http://it.wikipedia.org/wiki/Somalia_Britannica

but Somali(a) its not italian name because there is a ethnic group called Soomaali and we just added one xaraf whichs( A) Most countries in the world add their nationalty xarafka( a) Argentin(A) Americ(a) But view countries on this planet take a whole english word like(Land) and add their ethnicity...

Dr yalaxow ur not the smartest Americ is not an ethnic group and Argentin is not an ethnic group the Wikipedia page u posted indicated that Italian Somalia is the way italians pronounce their colony

Italian Somaliland
Somalia Italiana

Somali republic was born 26 june 1960 and the blue flag was rised in the north Somaliya cities, and 26 june 1960 is the day which this name(somali+land) was buried.

Indeed Xaayow Dameer, but not Somalia , there is a difference between Somali Republic and Italian Somalia. what your Mareexaan ape is saying is that on June 26 a country by the name of Somalia came into existence...which is utter non sense , an Italian colony called Somalia and a British Protectrate called Somaliland gained their independence and hence united under the name of The Somali Republic, not Somalia... how long it will take you southern donkeys and baboons to at last to learn the name of a country you wail for constantly?
