The legal name of the Italian colony was Somalia Italiana. The legal name of the British protectorate was British Somaliland.
The arguments of some of these people doesn't even make sense.
Why would the Italians use English terminology when naming their colonies at a time when they considered themselves equal to Great Britain in terms of colonial ambitions and European imperialism?
