Messi's haters and Ronaldo's lovers come in

Postby ZubeirAwal » Wed Jun 25, 2014 5:14 pm

To all those who criticized Messi for a bad season are now silent as he delivers at the big stage, he is driving his team forward with 4 goals in 3 games, Ronaldo however and his side face a risk of being eliminated. Image

I gotta admit the little guy is having a wonderful World Cup but you can't compare the 2. Ronaldo isn't 100% healthy, his team are in a difficult group. Also his team is facing major injuries and suspension. Ronaldo basically carried his team to the tournament an he still doing so. Messi has a better team so you can't compare the teams either so my nigga Ronaldo has to get a pass on this one. 8-)

Ronaldo is better than Messi. Simple. Remember Messi's last world cup? He was utter rubbish.

^ Ronaldo had the legs to go pass the defence of the USA but he lacked the finish, Messi scored against a on-form goalkeeper of Iran, scored a excellent solo goal aganst bosnia and a brace earlier today. He found his form and could be well on to carry a team of quality players to lift the trophy, Ronaldo's arrogance will always be the reason why he held himself back.

you realize it was Bosnia, Iran and Nigeria right? Bosnia, Iran and Nigeria, and all he managed was 4 goals despite having a wealth of talent around him. Neither Argentina, nor Messi has looked impressive yet.

Ronaldo is playing injured, he should be applauded for that all in it's self.

^Suarez's fate will be determined tonight.

Credit to Neymar he's been playing amazing so far, against a stubborn strong cameroonian defence and not to mention that world class one-touch finish from gustavo's pass.

Suarez has bad press reputation. Why are the English so hateful of Suarez? He plays in our league and carries a bit of Lpool in him. Plus the shitty Italians are now out, it reduces the pain of England being knocked out because both teams were good in their heyday but have fallen...

England were good in the 60s and the late 80s. They also have a better consistent record of qualifying to the last 16/quarter finals/Semis than the Italians (though yes Italy have won the WC more times)

Zubeir, lol Suarez played well in that game and showed true sportsmanship (even hugged Gerard after the match) it was our fault we were knocked out, not Suarez. The same way we could have beaten Italy but we only let ourselves down.
