If people in Scandinavia decide to follow Mecca's timing when fasting in the summer, they should do the same in the winter as well.

my god I once went 39 hours without food and only water and people are crying about 22 hours. What soft people.

When you realize your fasting for a higher order and purpose it makes little difference between what hour you break your fast.
Good for you sxb now kindly shut the fck up

Do you want to tell me why? You'll basically break your fast while the sun is still up? You can't resist hunger and thirst for a mere 21 hours? lol gaajo ku dishay

People are turning Islam into Christianity. Every year people make new rules. We will have people singing in mosques soon like southern church choirs. Wallahi you laugh now but it will happen soon if people don't stop their innovations and their misleading ways

^ Some people in the world are full of kibir, there are people tonight that will sleep without have eaten for maybe 4-5 days and this guy cannot even handle 21 hours, my 15 year old sister is fasting 19 hours and she does it with no complaint.

Allah knew that in the future there would come a time where muslims migrate to lands north and south of the equator, yet he did not say 'And if you find it hard, then follow the time of those who break their fast in a middle land", he told you to fast from sunrise to sunset, and you shouldn't use the north pole as an excuse you live in scandinavia not in greenland or antartica.

Anyways I will not bother to respond in this thread any longer, I've stated my two cents, Islam is a religion that transforms people it does not reform at the will of some person who cannot abstain from food for 21 hours.

PS, I disagree with that fatwa, what shame it is for one to start their fast 6 hours after fajr, and break it 6 hours earlier before maghrib.

No, you can't make ruilings based on your whims. This is a fiqh issue, that ulema need to address. Remember that this is ibaada between a muslim and his lord, so you need some one very learned to guide you through, not some kid saying if I can do it you can too.
