Deeqa Do you mean you wouldn't advice anyone to move to Mogadishu permanently I agree it is unstable. I have relatives who lived in the diaspora and
now live in backhome, many of the other Somali cities are fine.

As for the topic I will go backhome this year inshallah first I need to assess what needs to be done for the locals, then in few years time move there.
Yes Mogadishu is unstable but that doesn't mean living in other parts of Somalia is equivalent to the life you live in Europe or America. It's still a third world country just like marques said. Lol.

Khaalidow ninyahow some dream and plan for a economic empire that increases profits as if money is like ajar during the ramadan.

However, I have come to realise that I enjoyed my life the best when I hd far less income than I am having now. The more you earn the busier your life gets, the more busier it gets the less hours in your day. The less hours in your day the less enjoyable moments in those precious hours.

I am one lazy git, I love life and all the beautiful sides of life in general. A house, little family one simple business maybe a pizza delivery business or some other european entrepreneurial idea that has 100k startup capital that would be welcomed by a city of Bosaso's size.

But you do make sense as in invest majority of your cash in your business and that business will eventually give birth to your house.

*I was never going to pay cash for a villa and have 100k for business. I wished, no the house was always going to be paid in instalments. Mubarak group of construction is the largest construction company in puntland. They offer now interest free mortgage payments..and the payment are fairly low.. might even invite your for tea in bosaso one day

I am thinking of going home begin 2015 and put this house idea into work and come back and work for 5 years for the capital of the business..I just dont know the location yet,.. bosaso or garowe..might even settle for qardho not sure yet..
Its all still premature ideas, but going back home is non questionable...europe is no longer like it was in the good days of the 90's..pack your bags and make a runner while you can..

What are your plans
There is nothing better living in your own country amongst your people but i believe i am a typical nomad i like to live in between places
i dislike when Somalis waste their money on building a villa its good , but its a wasted money its better used my cousin is right now in Puntland for work and he told me that life is very cheap there and u dont need to spend allot of money to live a good life, the best and most profitable business in our region not just Somalia or Somaliland is construction if you can find your self but you have to bring something uniqueness a new style new designs to distinguish ur self from others but to start that up u need atleast 250.000 Dollars a water proof business plan. Best way is to work is on bring bigger firms to Puntland and start a franchise, start with small scale Business and operate from there Europe is only good for education choose a field u want to further develop work for a few years but try to return to the mother Land it will work really for your benifit there are so many fields u can work a small chicken Farm from importing Vegetables and Fruits to start a small whole sales Fishery industry and ofcourse Transport is also very lucrative from hauling to peoples transportation .i am currenlty working now on several projects in west Africa.

If Mogadishu was peaceful i would open up a place like Indha Birta those from reer Hargeysa know its a nice Petrol station with a big shop on top of that, retail is very booming the demand is a huge having 2 of those in Mogadishu you could not ask for more i am going to explore the Markets further when i visit Mogadishu and surely i really have the capital but investment is all about Risks , but with the right decisions u can get there, if you are in Somalia life is cheap u dont really need much a Land rover a normal house and the costs are cheap u just need to avoid those who want to shaxaad you , Europe i hate it i have been going back and forth to Somaliland from 2003 to now the place has allot of potential but u need investment i was saving up u start with little and ofcourse ilaahay weel weyn ba wax loogu baryaa Good luck

It all depends on money to be honest. I know one family from the diaspora they have a very large villa in the outskirts of town wa iska badiyaha, but they
have everything one might enjoy in Europe inside their house. Wa fikrad ficaan somaha. Only issue is our beloved NHS is not there, doctors
backhome are far from reliable.

I wish I could return home and live there forever, but I'm chained to bills I have to pay and a job I want to keep. I can't just ditch a fairly decent life or an uncertain one.

Insha'allah this year, to join the SNA army

From Den Bosch.
If what your saying is true, I would advice you against it, you can go back...but joining the SNA is a big mistake
How come, my Muslim brother?,.... Why would you advice me against that.
You will die! You can help in other ways

Inshallah within 5-10 years, after I've completed my studies. I'm heading for the coastal sea-side towns like Maydh, Xiis, Karin and Las Surad. There's a lot of money to be made. If only the useless government built proper raods connectig to main towns and cities.
Also state the country you currently live in. I want to see if one community overwhelmingly chooses a certain option.

I am not going back until 50+
Canada

I am,

Abdi "I will keep going for visits" Johnson
Mashallah, you're just going to die there. You're not gonna do anything of any use for your country except present them with your smelly corpse after 50 years. I'm sure they'll be flattered.
