These Somalis from Europe are backward and dont integrate. The smallest and most petty thing comes to a shock for them as if they are still in the bush. Its like they havent left their house for the 2 decades they were in Europe

One thing I learned on this forum Canadian somalis aren't the same as white Canadians. From my travels whenever I met a white canadian and they hear my london accent they love to talk about Britain and have great respect and admiration. Canadian Somalis look down on Britain and Europe, they try very hard to be American. You feel that they wished to be on the other side of the border.

Somalis in the States, specially if they are in as city full of Somalis, just could not go that. They world be outright ostracized. However, you would find Somalis who own stores in Memphis who sell liquor, I know them personally, one was killed in his store by black robbers.

Then you have Canadian-Somalis who fall into 2 categories. First group is very religious and then you got the majority whi are basically Muslyn just by name and who that whenever you visit them from the states and y'all go out and they offer you a drink and you refuse would absolutely be amazed that you don't wanna drink
