What propaganda is this! Reer Galbeed can say the letter B perfect fine, I can't even fathom....the lies wallahi I died reading that.

In Galbeedi to say the number two u say Laba, in other somali dialects they say Labo, usually in Galbeedi words are not "Somaliised" into the o

For example Fatima---Fadumo.
Asha--- Asho and so on and so forth

We also retained the rare letter P in Somali, ( Waaqoyi might have as well)

with the old Somali name "Arap" and the cuss word "Dipjir"
Pronounced in other afs as a B ( if at all)

I'm from Awdal..we speak Somali first 8-) in fact I am in possession of Awdal era Gabays all in Af Somaali, I will publish them in a book soon.
The Awdal and Ifat Kingdoms were Somali run and dominated. But I digress.

The only thing I don't like about Waaqoyi is all the curse words against Islam and the Deen
( Deenta abahawuss etc.) can any waaqoyi speakers tell me why they say that

Also Ahmed Gurey was born in Zaylac he was Abrayn-MahadCase Samaroon, i'm related to him He was a proud Somali

The northern dialect is the one used by the media but you can probably guess where the news presenters are from by listening to their pronunciation.
Actually the dialect that was written down and regarded as the officail one is the dialect of Mudug.
None of that "dee dee", and "xaa tiri" BS, Af Mudug is the one that was chosen beacuse everyone could easily understand it.
The man from Marka can understand af Mudug but he cannot easily understand af woqoyie.
The man from Woqoyie can understand af mudug but he cannot easily understand Af koonfur.
Mudug dialect can be understood by anyone.

People from Somalias deep South can't pronounce the letter B.

Af Galbeed is the weakest of all Somali dialects.

Arap is an Isaaq subclan and the name is not used by other Somalis.

When someone says "diinta Aabahaa was" how do you know they're talking about Islam. Diin means religion and they could be talking about any religion.

Ahmad Al Ghazi was not Somali, he did not speak Somali and Seylac was always in the hands of foreign powers since Axum until 1820's when Somalis took over.

I though qaldaan meant they talk weird, behave weird and smell weird. They are qalad by nature?
Whatever they do is always error(qalad=qaldaan=errordoer).
They claim secession and use the same country's name as the one(somalia=somaliland, means the same lol) they left.
They say we were oppressed, and now they are oppressing other peoples.

So their logic is error.

:damn:
It is a word used by people who can't speak proper Somali. Waa kuwa yidhaa gogol xaar instead of gogol xaadh.

Af Galbeed is not pure Somali. When I hear grown men speaking af galbeed I chuckle a bit because they sound like children. I mean how can you say wuu yimidey instead of wuu yimid and laagay instead of laaday and kooga instead of kooda. :pac:

Wariye became Wadhiye
Baabuur became Baabuudh
Gaari>Gaadhi
Xaar>Xaadh
abuukar>abuukadh

That could be qaldaan

Somalia=Land of Somalis.

SOMAL-ia

Word Unit: -ia (Greek > Latin: a suffix that forms nouns; state of, condition of, quality of; act of).

So State/Land of Somal People.

But i dont blame Errordoers. There was no google in 1991
