vicious aka adali aka gurey25 aka millions of Somalinet alias names---
That was good to watch actually.

Intellectual exchange indeed. Mehdi really impressed me. Dawkins appeared exhausted from finding someone confront him with his own quotes and facts. I enjoyed it. Mehdi was great-- but I wish he had more confident and more knowledgeable about his religion Islam than he was--the facts of Dawkins work. To be fair- I am sure he read a lot about the man before he appeared on his show, as expected, but I was kinda exacerbated with Dawkins continuously mocking our prophets pbuh ascendancy to heaven. I wish Mehdi just shushed him up with a small factoid like--the belief of scientists and atheists that the world happened due to one major meteoritic explosion billions years ago. Who was there to document this happenings? At least, religion has documents to go through albeit questionable-- but what does science have in terms of the origin of the universe? We cant expect us--believing people to take your word and then refuse our word of God--can u?
I tremendously enjoyed it.

Richard should stick to biology, the question of God and related areas is a philosophical one, a subject in which he is untrained. Which is why he completely avoids debates/discussions with the likes of Professor William Lane Craig and prefers Young Earth Creationists alot.Common atheist move, dare I say

@OP, let me suggest you look into more legitimate sources. That's' it.

U know what I find funny and hilarious???

A "Pakistani" who is educated, and does not speak rubbish like insert Rotti in his sentence. A Paki--who is eloquent-- enough---to pass for being above ethnically above it, beyond the horizon of a Paki realm!!
Hoorta---why is that-- non white people cannot be sooooo intellectual that it is scary. (I mean, except me of course lol)
Every educated ethnicity has a disability. Their infusion of their ethnic culture, with their high education is incongruent. A white polished, intellectual is something walle.

Observe- Obama---seemingly the most intellectual adoon there could be right? Harvard law graduate. He was a president of the law dean for Gods sake-- and yet-- his intellectualism is a little bit better than Bill Cosby from the archaic Cosby show.
This Pakistani Hassan---although very impressive---strikes me as still juvenile and slightly intellectually malnutrioned.

Is Mehdi Hassan ashamed of his backround? I just Wikipedia him and it does not state where he is originally from. ALl it says is--"INDIAN" as ethnicity. But that is broad and vague. Yes, his religion is clearly stated as ISLAM, and dominion 'SHIA" but what about ---Pakistani? Where I would assume he is from right? Can someone elaborate what is going on here?

mehdi put ina good performance but he does not have confidence in his religion,
people like dawkins can be destroyed easily in a debate,
just do not debate on their terms.

mehdi is not knowledgeable because of his secular upbringing..

shia is like a different religion from sunni. They even have their own holy place after Makkah. (Najf and Karbala)
This guy did very well in the debate. He made Dawkins think hard and gave him hard questions. Its people like him that we need to be put against Dawkins , Sam, Hirsi etc
Who do you think can go up against those people? Tell me

i dont think there are people like that.
western philosophy needs secularism and islam is not so much compatible with secularism.
most apologetics have to be leaning on one side more for example Mehdi hassan is more secular than he is islamic
