Its not just the leaders if there was a vote right now in somaliland over joining the south 99.9% would vote no, same with puntland. They even have their own independence parties so it is very obvious they are keeping their independence.

We had it for generations so it is very obvious we will never drop it. For long lasting peace in the horn of africa its best if the somali tribes ruled themselvs and it is very obvious federalism wont work so independence is the answer.

Ok but me and you both know a united Somalia with prior 1991 borders will never happen so why even talk about it. Its time to face the facts we will forever fight each other in the name of qabil, we can never have a political fight because it will always resort to qabil so why continue? Its best if we parted ways
