getting chased as a kid/teen

I got chased by a guy holding a golf club after I interrupted him playing golf with a rude gesture. I got chased by a group of white youths who were after my friend. Funny thing, our friend didnt say a thing he just did a runner all of a sudden. How was I to know the ppl approaching slowly were all after him. I once got chased in an alleyway by someone who jumped off a garage roof. We ran.till this day I dont know who that person was. A little older, I got chased by a group with all kinds of weapons. Another time, this asian guy came running out of his car with a bat because the somalian next to me asked him for a cigarette rather rudely.baasto maxamed farax abdi bile unit.

Ohh man we were in blood neighborhood once back in cali4nia, one of my retarded friends thought it would be fun throw up crip signs. All I remember is a sea of red giving chase, nyggas were usain bolt and the retard is laughing like a mad man.

Once cops were chasing a gang of us with the copter above, in our neighborhood so we had the upper hand, there were series of tunnels that went underground and criss crosed. A good 10 minutes of running we popped up in Winona (a neighborhood non but somalis)

Another time, a fat ass cop was on my tail...I really underestimated the dude cus I ended up getting caught after running out of air. Dude barely broke sweat....he ended up releasing me to my hoyo (I prefered juvi tho)

Oh man, i have so many 'i got chased today stories' as a kid but i still can't figure out to this day why these incidents happened when I was by myself even though i grew up with older brothers and cousins.

First time i was 11 doing something at a park, called this old lady a 'bitch'; 5 minutes later i was getting chased by her old man and his dog.. i had to dive into a neighbours pool for safety.

second time, this one wasn't my fault. I was riding my bike from football practice and group of white kids called me a name, can't remember what it was but i knew it was an insult. I was alone but I couldn't let them punk me so i diss them back. Two of them jumped on their bikes and chased me, i spirinted as fast as i could thinking at least drag these two away from the rest of the group then you might have a fighting chance. I did just that, jumped out of my bike and got ready to scrap, they did two we squared off and before punches were thrown, these two older white dudes driving down the road stop their car jumped out and broke the fight up. Lucky break or a missed vicotry, will never know.

third time, I was in the masjid listening to a lecture and enough people in the masjid, i was sitting with 2 of my friends being a kid, doing stupid shit and not paying attention to the lecture. One of them said something and i reacted to it and said "jesus" outloud accidently, everything went quiet and the lecturer came towards me looking angry as fuck and i run outta there, chased me but he was fat and old he had no chance. Obviously i got a beat down when i came home.

i got so many more.. but not as an adult.

When you grow up in non-native country that sees you as a complete alien, you learn to adapt and survive or you become a bitch, that is why in mainland europe Somalis are feared, in UK they became the bitch.

I think there is a divide, but not in terms of home regions or tribe, it is divide between UK/USA/Canada and mainland Europe, in the latter, SOmalis are feared, in the former they are seen as prey.

Adali, violence in mainland europe is nothing compared to what can go down in the uk. I have lived in areas where there were only a few somali families and there was beef on a daily basis. I remember my overweight uncle going out to beef racists in his macawis.when I say beef, I am talking bricks coming through ur window, ppl trying to burn ur house, female family members getting their stomachs flying kicked. I havent even mentioned our experiences between other madow-cadaan and somali crews. I knew a few ppl who are no longer with us, others had close calls.. Anyway, this thread was meant as a light hearted thowback to the times u got chased as a kid by older people, not a discussion on violence and bravery.
