Can't stand xisaab in all it's forms; Algebra, trigonometry, Geometry, Calculus, Statistics and whatever else involving numbers

:ahh: :blessed: Especially calculus. Ilaahey blessed me with a mathematical mind. It's a shame I wasted it. :(

 Funny thing is my nephew asked me for some help with his high-school math homework a while ago, couldn't remember half of it :meles:

:sadcam: :snoop: Your math sucks more than you know because rectangles don't have volumes as they are two dimensional objects. Volumes deal with three dimensional objects. Unless it is a rectangular prism.

Not sure if your cousin is being taught right either.

Huh? I'm in uni now doing engineering so Calculus comes up quite a bit. But if money wasn't an option, I would've done Maths or Physics/astrophysics.

^ Same thing. I kinda forgot my calc courses. I took up to multivariable calculus but I've gotta admit integral calc was the bitch of them all.

Over the years, it seems I can't retain most of what I've learned in math throughout my years in school, good thing I hardly ever sold my books from college. Earlier today, my nephew asked me to help him with his advanced linear regression problem for homework Image Keep in mind, he's not even in H.S. Bless the soul that came up with youtube. :blessed:

Volume of a rectangle?

Luckily for most people that aspect of Maths (shapes, angles, trigonometry algebra etc) isn't needed in their respective work environment or their daily lives. It is good to keep some numeracy though (fractions, percentages, ratios and statistical stuff like graphs, tables, averages, variances and errors etc) basically anything involving Mental Maths..

Armaan, it hurts me sometimes when, even though being a Maths grad, i forget silly little formulas and can't help my sister with everything on her homework..she showed me a complex equation recently and some vectors that i haven't come across for about 4 years and i had to read through her excersize class book and told her to give me an hour to get back to her..

Marques, why do the uk call it maths? As long as you can figure out how to relearn quickly you're good to go. What kind of vector math was your sister doing?

PO, Maths is just abbreviated on paper it's still Mathematics..it was an Exam question with scalar parameters and perpendicular vectors which tbh isn't that hard

Marques: You are not supposed to remember all the formulas. You can look them up. Understanding formulas and how/why they are derived is more important. I personally suck at memorizing theorems and formulas but I can always derive them. The important thing to do is build a solid foundation. If your algebra is not solid, then get ready to get punched in the face in calculus classes as well LA, and differential equation classes.

The hardest math class I took is linear Algebra which is, oddly enough, far less difficult than say multivariable calculus according to most students.

Lilaahiya: Don't you have your books? Math is amazing, learn it.

guess what??? Math is usually suited for a 'male brain'! Another reason or indication or even call it proof that u r a lesbo! Lesbos usually have the similar brain make-up of a male. I know, this info will delight u as u want to be a male, lol all lesbo want to be males-- but I am just doing an analysis. :dj:
