Ethiopian/Eritrean Music Videos

Postby AbdiWahab252 » Mon Oct 24, 2005 10:07 am

I was watching some Ethiopian/Eritrean music videos this past weekend. They were quite entertaining. The variety ranged from Reggae style to traditional country ballads to urban romance sagas and my favorite, Patriotic songs especially from the war fronts where Ethio/Erit entertainers were singing for the troops.

All in all, they were very good and Somalis entertainment can borrow a leaf from them.

Plus the sistas were gorgeous even more than the ones at your local Ethio/Erti restaurants/bars.

mizz-chief.... come on walashiis Laughing ain't i making progess (moving closer to the motherland).

their alphabet and writing system is cool. it is a generic of amaraic modified over hundreds of years.

i always wonder why somali was never written in arabic. it would have made sense since a majority of somali can write in arabic due to learning quran.
