Instead of bringing in foreigners who would spit at you in their own countries, how about training and hiring somalis?

:::

One thing I noticed about Hargeisa - during my travel to Africa back in 09- is that there are 2 classes rich and poor. There is no middle class you're either wealthy or poor digenerate.

lolll @ this thread.

I thought I'd be happy with Hargeisa becoming open to others, but as I see more and more Arabs, Pakis and who knows what coming, I feel a strange sense of possessiveness. I don't like it, but I do.

They are not here because they love Somalia, Somalis, nor our culture. They are here to make money. Do they spend the majority of their money here? No, they're sending their business returns/paychecks back home. I'm surprised to see them mingling with Somalis, I normally see them alone.

Unless you're half Somali, I don't want you here. :?

Touche walaal. Except you're probably thinking about white Canadians thinking like this.

*Natives = Aboriginals* have a right to think like that, and no one else.

I do see your point though, and I DID say 'I don't like it' but that's how it makes me feel. Why? There are thousands of capable Somalis able to work, but they can't afford the education. If they can, they are not given the opportunities to work because jobs are given to Yemenis/Pakis/whoever else.

Instead of nitpicking dear baasto, you should see what my point is. A strong Somalia will exist when we want to and DO raise, educate, hire and promote our own.

And What the hell is national identity when we have people foaming at the mouth at seeing others in our country? Hiring and working with their own and for their own? lmao
