We need more like you and less of Hawadian and Khalid ali, then the sky is the limit...It's like you read my mind. 10,000 from SL, 10,000 from PL and another 10,000 from Galmudug. Moving the Capital to Hargeisa as interim would also move the focus away from simple survival to taking the war to alshabab whilst having a base for proper administration.
I think a better proposal would be to collect all the sane people from every single tribe and have them form a party. A militaristic party that relies less on diplomacy. A mere 30K men can take over Somalia as long as they are honest and truthful to their goals. If they can get rid of foreigners, then Somali militias will have no chance at all.
Whatever we do, the first group of people to suffer should be the Au and Ethiopia.
30,000 infantry with SL bearing most of the costs for training and equipment. Somalia is at war on all sides including from within. We have now witnessed sick dhabodhilifs who are even willing to sell their ayeeyos to AMISOM.
4 potential problems and roadblocks to this plan;
(1) Ethiopia. They will see it as an act of agression and will never allow a peaceful and stable somali state to exist.
(2) SL. The country is run by ethiopian-stooges who have been plying the population with nonsense ictiraaf rhetoric for 20 years. They will never move with any decisiveness or ambition. They are happy with a poor tahriib-ravaged cesspool as long as they get their cut form port tax. It might have been different if Cigaal or Tuur AUN were alive, they were at least men.
(3) Puntland. Their whole reason for existence is to disrupt southern political progress and be a thorn in the side of SL. They are quite happy selling their own cagdheer cousins to their ethio masters for cookie-points.
(4) Villa Zoomalia. This the heart of all cesspools. It is the termite mound responsible for housing the insects that have eaten away at the very foundations of this once respectable republic. All problems start and end in Xamar. It houses more dhabodhilifs and caloshoodushaqaysteyal than all the rest of the country combined. For as long as this remains the capital, nothing good will come about. It needs to be excorcised and fumegated.
I'm well aware there are many patriots in all these places but they are either not vocal enough nor determined to end this cycle of insanity. Somaliya needs a grass-roots movement full of people who will put the country first and their tribe second.
It sad that a lot of Isaaq's are too caught up in what happened yesterday and ignoring that the world has moved on and whilst we have to an extent moved on in many ways, we are dictated by not our primary interest but anger/fear/apprehension of the past. Our natural state will be doing business and or country with other Somalis this is and will be the natural state. We are one people regardless of what flag you are waving or region you are from. If I see a Somali person needing help, I dont care about tribe, that person being Somali is enough. This is the general Somali mindset.
The SNM struggle was just, this is why god almighty helped is win against all odds. Somaliland on the other hand has not succeeded because it overs other Somalis/muslims no help and intact hates them and this xaasidnimo is the reason why it has not achieved its goal.
If Somaliland involved itself in a productive way towards the rebuilding and reconstructing of the Somali state, I'm sure this would be far beneficial in so many ways. Instead we spend time and effort trying to fit score pegs in round holes. Its about time we realised a successful peaceful Somalia is good for all Somalia. Sitting on the sideline is a cowards way out..
