Taking an Cadaan girl back home

What would the stigma be of taking an Cadaan girl back to the motherland? Obviously she'd be a revert.
Would our kids get bullied by other kids for not being pure Somali? How about the wife, would she get stones thrown at her, get called gaal?
How will I be treated?

I don't know, that would be a good social test. You should try it and report back

Does anybody know Dr Mahmud Abdulahi Jama, 'Sifir, the Somaliland ambassador to Kenya?

In 1966 he married Virginia Shine, a white lady with red hair. She was a Volunteer and he was a language instructor at Columbia. At last report they were still married.

There was a lady from my city named sister Zeinab (AUN) who got married to a Somali man and moved to Hargeysa

She recently died but from what I can recall, she was pretty accepted in the city. Very popular too.

Lilly, are you talking about the lady who took her kids from her previous relationship to Hargeisa where they became super fluent in Somali? I met one of them at a Siilaanyo party a few years ago (don't ask why I was there), he's a chill dude.
As for the OP, there won't be much stigma tbh. There's plenty of cadaan women back home, and many of whom are married to Faraxs They might get a few stares from some reer miyi folk, but they stare at anything non-geeljire. My cousin is planning to take his cadaan wife and kids to Somaliland so they can all become fully fluent in Somali and embrace authentic Somali culture.
If it was a Somali woman with an Cadaan husband, this would be a different story

I wouldn't compare Hargeisa to the rest of Somalia. The Isaaq are well-known to be lap-dogs for cadaan. They love anything white. They probably worshipped her.
In the rest of Somalia, the bitch would be raped then stoned to death.

You married a white girl, my dad would not allow this, he would be like.
So you can't find a decent Somali girl ? you want to marry a prostitute.

It's called respect. Isaaq are noble compared to Zoomalis. You live in the white mans country, does he rape your mother and then stone her?
This is the mentality of the Gudhuu.
