LiquidHydrohen seems to be the only person who gets .

ANYONE who thinks that Kenya will lose an inch of its territory is greatly mistaken. Does anybody here think that Pemba will come to Kenya? Somalia president is hard-headed - and you can be sure the case will go bad for Somalia

The article is hyperbole - anyone who reads the Nation knows why the nation is doing that. To create anger, panic, among Kenyan readers. This way Parliament will pay attention. It seems it's also geared towards portraying SOMALIANS as THE DEVIL INCARNATE. As the troublesome neighbor. Always fighting to steal her neighbors land. It's a problem with the modern education system.

Please download a book by a bunch of white supremacists that's titled Why Johnny Can't THINK

A bantu smokescreen. Somalis are not sophisticated, cohesive nor strong enough to defend the territorial waters. Whichever kenyan monkey that wrote that article is simply creating a smokecreen for Kenya to successfully steal somali waters. I remember reading a similar article about somalis being the master race of east africa or some such nonsense. There is no way Kenya will lose any of it's waters, in fact the opposite is very likely and Somalia stands to lose most of it's southern territories.

Thank you braindead qabiil-obsessed xoolo. :blessed:
Logged in to basically write this. In what world would Somalia's maritime boundary that's perpendicular to the coast mean that Kenya would become land-locked? The claim is so absurd that it's immediately clear this article is a smokescreen.

Why in the world would Somalia need to resort to the International Court now all of a sudden, when there really isn't much of a dispute to begin with? We've had the same maritime border since 1972, and even before that when the British transferred Jubbaland to Italy. It's obvious there have been bribes deposited in anonymous Turkish bank accounts that facilitated this outrage, and with Norway's repeated attempts at trying to rewrite our maritime borders, we now have a situation where Somalia has given up its sovereignty to the whims of a European court.

I used to  @ Original Dervish's hatred of HSM, but it looks like he was right after all :?

Agreed. Its much more likely Somalia will lose waters then Kenya, after all the "manufactured" disputs only concerns Somalia waters not Kenyans. This article is for fear consumption for the Kenyan people who now will get the idea that Somalia claim its waters while in reality its the opposite.

Anybody whom knows anything about the International Court will understand it is totally corrupt.
I fear Somalia will lose this case, irrespective of their legal arguments.

The crux of the conflict stems from the transfer of Jubbaland to Italy in 1925. The British managed to screw up the world again with that move. In a better world, Jubbaland would have stayed on as part of Kenya.

Of course these are Kenyan waters, and any court worth anything will show that.

When is the verdict this will be very interesting, this will either break Somalia or make Somalia. Kenya is very strong in the west people should not underestimate the ICC chasing Uhurro and William rutto. Kenya still remains the darling of the west particularly the United Kingdom. And Kenya has Jubbaland it can use has leverage.

What's interesting here is that

a) Futo's are upset at this good news and strongely back Kenya
b) LiquidHYDROGEN hates Somalia and is also upset at this news.

Its the ICJ that'll be dealing with this case not the ICC, even though that doesn't make a difference as they're both corrupt.

Kenya wants to settle the case outside the court system. That should tell you they never had a leg to stand on.
