How about Somali tribal bigotry towards Somali tribal minorities or the hatred among the major clans? We even reached a stage where our mosques are called masaajidka reer hebel. We shouldn't be pointing fingers at others when we are the epitome of tribal prejudice, xenophobia and repugnance towards one another because of tribalism.

Racism is just another everyday human convention no matter where you go. People of all backgrounds will discriminate on the basis of color, gender, religion etc some just commit this on a larger scale than others. Besides, it has gone on since time was recorded. You tell me any society that judges you on merit and i will show you the heavens.

Best thing to do, is to do your part of being a good Samaritan. Treat everyone with respect, say hello to your neighbours, be fair when deciding between people, live with good principles etc
