Assalamu Alaikum,

It is not righteousness that ye turn your faces to the East and the West; but righteous is he who believeth in Allah and the Last Day and the angels and the Scripture and the Prophets; and giveth his wealth, for love of Him, to kinsfolk and to orphans and the needy and the wayfarer and to those who ask, and to set slaves free; and observeth proper worship and payeth the poor due. And those who keep their treaty when they make one, and the patient in tribulation and adversity and time of stress. Such are they who are sincere. Such are the God fearing

[Qur'an 2:177]

Brothers and Sisters in Faith fear Allah (SWT), and don't let Ramadan be the ONLY time you start worshipping Allah (SWT) the way He (SWT) commanded us to worship Him, The Almighty, but rather let it be for as long as you live!

Brothers and Sisters in Islam, fear Allah (SWT) and stop with all these swearing words specially since it's RAMADAN for the Prophet (saw) said "Whoever does NOT abandon evil speech and acting upon it, then Allah is in no need for him to leave off his food and drink." (Agreed upon). This means that a person who does so will receive no reward from fasting Ramadan except hunger and thirst!

Most of you are already planning to go back to any bad habits you might have had or the sins you used to do the minute Ramadan is over (Nauzhubillah). Why bother fasting? The Messenger of Allah (pbuh) said: "He who fasts during Ramadan with faith and seeking reward from Allah will have his sins forgiven!" (Bukhari)

Don't you know my dear brother and/or sister in Faith that you can die any time? Imagine you have all these plans to go back to your old ways and you die a day before Eid...what will you say to your Creator when you stand infront of Him? Don't you fear Him? Don't you fear His punishments? Do you think just for being a Muslim, you will go to Heaven?

A great poet once wrote ---> "In my view, the worst kind of self-delusion is to greatly sin, yet hope for forgiveness without feeling any regret; and to hope to draw closer to Allah (SWT)-the Most High, without obedience to Him and to await the fruits of Paradise, by planting the seeds for Hell-Fire, and to seek the abode of the obedient ones, by doing acts of disobedience, and to expect a reward , without doing any worthy actions , and to hope in Allah-the Mighty and Majestic-after overstepping the bounds." "You hope for salvation but do not tread it's path. A ship never sails unpon dry land"

Here is a good article to read and may Allah (SWT) guide us all to the straight path (Ameen)
