Kismayo is probably the least videoed or photographed major city in Somalia.
My birth place, The Pearl of the Indian Ocean.

God has blessed Ilma Jabarti Ismaciil, the only clan with two major port-cities on the Arabian sea and the Indian Ocean.
Imagine sailing from Bosaso in the summer to rainy Kismayo, and then migrating back in the Dayr with a boat full of tropical fruit.
A Waamo wife + A Bari wife= The Darood lifestyle

Kismayo is the only Somali city where 100% of all city roads are paved.
It is also the city with the newest sewage system in Somalia, built in the mid 1980's.
Kismayo has no fresh water problem, it uses wells for now. But in the future a canal linking the river to the city water supply will inshallah be constructed. It will soon directly compete with Mogadishu as the Jubaland Administration plans to lower port and airport fees. Kismayo is the Jewel of the Juba and the greatest Somali city in existence.

Wtf is a a Bicidyahan from Galbeed doing as the maamulaha dekada, and a Cumar Maxamud from Mudug as the mayor. Ogaden are geniuses, so that they can sideline MJ natives (i.e Cusman Maxamud, Ciise Maxamud and Ali Saleban) they choose the most obscure MJs that have never set foot in Kismayo into these positions. At least give these positions to the natives.

There is one story of the nephew of the maamulaha dekada, that he is preparing registration plates from Saudi or UAE so that he can charge for its 'distribution.

What I'm trying to say is Jubaland is a cartel and its not gonna get anywhere, too much corruption, Madoobe is gnna build more houses in Kenya while orphans in Kismayo live by begging.
