If the relationship is based on contribution from both on everything, then they'll work it out.
If he wants a housewife, then provided he is sole breadwinner - if they both are cool with that - then what's the discussion?
Every couple agrees to their own boundaries, interests and expectations. Traditional, modern or a mix of both on different topics. Just make sure neither of you are surprised after the aroos

Since I am still working with my salary I can afford a shaqaalo and if he realises it's actually expected of him by the religion to pay for household assistance (this is an amazing part of the deen if it's true - never researched it) then I will take up cooking classes and do the cooking (he can do the dishes - not good for my nails).
You see walaalow, waa win-win. Happy wife, happy life
And since the wife is relaxed when she gets home, when he gets home their other duties™ will be more ermm...thorough

No it's not. I am allowing him to look after me. That is very not feminist
Why are you even complaining, isn't this what men live for? Being all alpha in the house and providing and stuff. Surely it makes perfect sense

Nah I'm more of a if I can afford it, fuck it why not kinda guy. But tbh, I kinda like your arrangement
. Thing is though, I know things never work out ideally so you have to wing it a lot of the times.
