Good to come across another Somali who calls it kimiis.. I think its a Somali word.Drool omg
We call it kimiis. I don't know if that's a borrowed word from arabic, but thank god it's not hindi.

My whole family calls it kibiis/kibis. Except my dad who sometimes refers to it simply as sabaayad. Kimiis sounds super weird.Good to come across another Somali who calls it kimiis.. I think its a Somali word.
The yemenis also call it sabayad.. it tastes a wee bit different to the somali version though.. less flaky, ,![]()
