The untold story of the 2 Somali-Norwegian girls who joined ISIS

You may have read in the media how two young Somalis girls (who’re sisters) from Norway left their family to join ISIS a few months ago, how their father went after them, how at one point of time we thought they were held by gangs (well, they were, sort of, by gangs who use the cloak of Islam). Many questions were left unanswered and details remained sketchy.
However today we present to you this translation detailing the true untold story of their fate, and we hope that this serves as a warning and a wake-up call to ALL of our sisters insha’ Allah.

The story is narrated by “Mujahid Jazrawi” (@Jazrawi_wss) a shar’i from Jabhat an-Nusrah who witnessed everything 1st hand, but it was posted (here) by Abul Hasan al-Kuwaiti (@abohasan_1) another shar’i from Jabhat an-Nusrah.

-------------------------------------------------------------------

I witnessed an incident at the court of the “Islamic State” in ad-Danah in regards to two muhajirat who had travelled to (to join) the “Islamic State” organization, the story behind the incident is as follows:

A Somali man aged between 40 to 50 arrived from Norway and he was saying: “I have two daughters, I raised them in an Islamic upbringing, I taught them the virtue of jihad and that of aiding the Muslims.
However what became of them is that when they reached close to their twenties they left the house leaving behind a note in which they had written:

“You taught us jihad theoretically, today we’ll apply it practically”.

The news about the girls became cut off and the father began searching for them everywhere, and he reached out to the police & the embassy.

After a while he received a call informing that his daughters were in Syria, that they were in dangerous place and that he had to pay a sum of money amounting to such-and-such so that they could leave!

So he decided to travel and to enter the land of ash-Sham in search of his daughters. The first stop during his search for his daughters was when he met us at Atmeh where he conveyed his whole story & complaints to us.

So we began asking around for him and the ameer of the battalion assigned the amni (intel) supervisor to follow this case.

The father would tell us they were held by a gang and that they were hostages.

During that period the father received a phone call from his daughter, she spoke to him crying and then it cut them off.

The brothers dialed that number and negotiated the release of the two girls, so they agreed (to meet) on a specific day in Atmeh.

And so a group of brothers left with their weapons and began waiting. The brothers imagined (the arrival of) a gang, with the hostages in another place, and that they would negotiate a specific sum of money, and then the girls would be released etc.

Only to be shocked by a Nigerian man who had the two girls in a car with him. The brothers stopped him and immediately a heated conversation ensued between them, so the Nigerian man quickly turned his car around & the brothers opened fire on the car. The car stopped at an ISIS checkpoint in Atmeh, he began seeking their help saying he was a fighter from ISIS, so the ISIS fighters surrounded the brothers and a battle was about to erupt.

One of the girls was hit in her shin and she was immediately attended to. Everybody went to ISIS’s court in Atmeh, and the father also came. So they (ISIS) said we’ll transfer the case to the court in ad-Danah, so the father went the next day and raised the case.

Upon arriving at the court he was told that the elder daughter was married to an ISIS fighter through a shar’i contract conducted by the court!

Then they had him to put in prison for 12 days, 9 of which were in solitary confinement and he was accused of being a spy for Turkey! He was humiliated and tortured while held. Furthermore the director of the ISIS prison would threaten to kill him.

He (the father) said: “A judge came to the court, his name was so-and-so an-Najdi & he was responsible for the courts, and he said: “We won’t leave today until we finish his case”.

So he called him to be brought forth and requested from the prosecutors to bring the evidences against him, but they were unable to bring anything to suggest his apostasy or him being a spy. So the judge ruled his innocence and that he was to be freed from prison.

The director of the prison however became enraged and protested the verdict!

The father continued: "The judge transported me from ad-Danah to Atmeh and said to me: I advise you to leave Syria”. He then praised that judge.

I met the father of the girls after his release and he said: “I’ll go to Reyhanli”.
I said: “And your daughters?”
He said: “I couldn’t do anything for them, they even refused to let me sit with them!”

I tried to change his mind, telling him that we’d protect him and that we’d endeavor to release his daughters, he refused however and insisted on leaving.

He then left for Reyhanli to save himself from being killed, because he was “a spy for the Turkish intelligence” - as they accused him of being - .

I met the “husband” of the elder daughter, he’s a Nigerian living in Kafrjum (كفر جوم), we debated his marriage to the girl, and I recall from what I said to him: “How can you marry a girl without the permission of her guardian?”, to which he responded: “Her father has no guardianship, her guardian is al-Baghdadi! And I married through a shar’i contract from the court”.

I exhausted myself trying to make him understand the concept of the guardianship of their father and the impermissibility of preventing them from seeing him.

He left after remembering his lacking ‘Arabic skills & prevailing ignorance.

And so this incident became a scene from many (recurring) scenes that happened in the land of ash-Sham. A result from the work done by coordinators from ISIS who incite muhajirat to come, and oblige them to leave the abodes of kufr to migrate to the “abode of Islam”, with its headquarters in ar-Raqqah, by stating it’s an individual obligation.

“You taught us jihad theoretically, today we’ll apply it practically”.

Why was he chasing them all the way to a Syrian prison if he brainwashed his own daughters and made them ripe to be abused by low lives? He could have educated them and in turn they would have helped the millions of Somalis in need for help. All these teenagers running away have been brainwashed by their parents who never thought they might "practically apply" it.

He said: “I couldn’t do anything for them, they even refused to let me sit with them!”
:comeon: You expect me to cry for these girls who could not even let their father sit with them leave alone taking them with him?

It doesn't matter what he was referring to. The bottom line is these girls have joined ISIS willingly and their father just grasped that now. One of them is even married. It is not sad anymore.
