I couldn't stand it if I'm being honest. What? Constant "macaneey"? It sounds sarcastic or retarded or mechanical
What you need to do is talk about the contract of your relationship, whisper about the clauses and terms of agreement

Bar, you are absolutely correct. But if a man cannot fall in love and express himself to further his relationship, then he is not for me. Others who are less into romance can have that bland "love".

Somalis know what love is, they are simply too hard-headed to stand up for it. No one knows about you being sweet to her but you, how would that threaten your raganiimo or conflict with your macho reputation? A real man is one who is not threatened by showing a softer side to his wife. Brow-beating a woman is disgusting.

The Prophet once said "the best among you is the one who is the best towards his wife." Just remember that fellas. ;)

Hard to argue with points so clearly and eloquently articulated, sis.. But having said, did you really have to pull out the religion card on me and ever so slyly? Now, thanks to you, I feel like I have just added one more sin to the long list of sins I have committed. Not a wholesome feeling, I tell you!

It's so wonderful to hear your spouse say sweet nothings in Somali, English, whatever language..I love it...but I must say, it irks me when done in the presence of others...I'm put off by PDA but that's just me.

Words of endearment isn't my forte. I like a girl who can roast you back and not catch feelings when you roast her. It's more fun that way. Saying some of the words mentioned here is just way to cheesy for me, I couldn't ever picture myself doing it. I know Somali girls like that shit. Maybe that's why I'm more attracted to Jareer girls and not Somalis.
