to try to force or at least make it prominent to those in position of power and other Somalis all over that many of us aren't happy with foreign troops on Somali soil, i don't know about many of you but for me i think its a dishonor and degradation to permit this to keep on any longer. it might not change anything but maybe just maybe it will spark something somewhere..
i haven't followed Somali clan politics and what is going on for few years now but its prevalent understanding that the days of all out clan violence amongst Somalis have ceased and they aren't armed along tribal lines to kill each other as much. i also highly doubt that the Al-shabaab threat is as significant as people make it out to be, what i mean is, they have little man power to sack the government or take over entire cities so why are foreign troops requited?
kenyan troops are present in Kismayo when i was there early this year but their visibility was truly minuscule, but when i went to Xamar it was on the contrary meaning they were in all places. the entire airport was under their management (AU troops), this disturbed me so i asked this high ranking official who's partly in charge of the Aaden Cade Airport and he said to me was disheartening. he said to me 'marka sadex meelood loo qaybiyo airportkan wuxuu sameeyo, hal qayb waxaa leh african union heads, qaybna turkiga, qaybta kalena madaxweynaha'
those who disagree or know more of why they are there, i would like to hear your thoughts..
