Having noticed how some Somalinetters criticise or defend Mogadishu depending on their tribal loyalties, is Mogadishu fit to be a capital city for all Somalis? Considering the demographic changes that occurred in Mogadishu after 1991, are many displaced people (Darood) welcome back?
My opinion is that a new capital city that does not have the volatile history of Mogadishu should be built from scratch in the Digil and Mirifle territories as they are probably the party with the least guilt in the chaos that followed the Civil War.
p.s I would also have suggested Ceerigabo but Somaliland will IA receive recognition and take its rightful place among the sovereign nations of Africa.
