Growing up I knew gaalo ppl were dad nijaas ah, but I always thought that was only the low class trailer trash types that were like that, not university educated students. FFS its almost impossible to find a washroom stall on campus where the last person hasn't flushed their number 1 or number 2, or see one of them actually wash their hands after using a urinal (they get so confused when I grill them after they just walk out from taking a piss). Disgusting how some ppl on this forum aspire to be like them

I very rarely meet smelly gaalo, except the occasional alcoholic or homeless bum. I have met plenty of Somalis who smell of sweat and suugo though.

Regardless if they smell or not they're less hygienic than your average Muslim and I think we all know why.. But to assume they all smell is a blanket generalization.

To me Gaalo smell most of doofar(Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner), alcohol(evening), and old dried xaar(during the day especially summer season).
Imagine being stuck in a office where the air-conditioning was temporarily out of order with a gaal during a hot summer day, as the room was getting hotter it started to smell, of course I assumed he had farted so I left the room for about 5 minutes and when I came back it literally stank 10 times worse, I knew that minute that what I was inhaling was not a fart but evaporated faeces that had been stuck between his bum cheeks since his last visit to the toilet, I made up an excuse saying it was too hot and relocated to another office for the rest of the day.
