I think it is a GREAT thing that Somalis are engaging in a stress free activity like painting and traditional dances. (Churchill and Bush both loved painting, although both for different reason. Churchill was battling depression, and Bush, trying not to drink and be busy) Good for Somalis. I applaud them. However, I hope they stretch their horizons and paint something deeper more than---ancient styled mosques with a half moon on the top of the roof and a Somali symbol star shining above. Or worst-- paint birds or goats---u know, my grand mother always said-- never draw or paint a living thing. Its dhambi. Its like playing God or something.
