Gabar jamaican recently observed how it is becoming normal for hijabed women to smoke in public.today I walked past three hijabed women puffing away in the middle of the road.they were persians or arabs.things done changed.notorious b.i.g.

It's not something new, they're just more visible because of the rise in people coming from Syria.
Arab women from the Levant smoke like chimneys. Before cigarettes arrived, it was shiisha now they do both. I heard people from nearby Greece & Turkey are also the same{because of the similarity in culture}. Nasty habit but it's cultural for them.
