Finally action by Putin

Postby gurey25 » Tue Nov 25, 2014 7:08 am

After the speech at Valdai
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Valdai_spe ... imir_Putin

I assumed that since the glove was thrown down action would be taken.

Logically i assumed he would do the obvious moves and attack the west head on, i.e remove the instruments of western control over Russia the Russian central bank and place it under state control, its an easy to do job and people have been screaming for this for years.

The central bank, certain media and state institiostions are still held by Atlantacists Oligarchs who are loyal to the west first and are a fifth coloumn.

instead Putin has been pulling this move.

http://russia-insider.com/en/business_o ... _gold_trap
genius.

If he keeps this up and then follows up with lynching the atlantacists and restoring state control over the central bank

i will become a Putin groupie officially.

Gurey, what's up with this $400 billion deal with China I keep hearing that is one-sided in China's favour. What will the Chinese do in return? Surely there are other markets for oil and gas, outside of EU? What about South America, Africa, Black market?

Also how does a supposedly socialist/communist country have a Central Bank that is not under state control? Unless Russia is no longer communist and like China, it's just rhetoric to justify autocracy and one-party politics.

Looks like Russia may be the first nation in the world to back their currency with the gold standard.....this defies the laws of current world. A new type of war has emerged perhaps ?

It looks like the world is already in a cold war. And if the West (the US & Western Europe) and the East (Russia & China) do not put their differences aside (which seems very unlikely given the global political turmoil and the worsening strive for natural resources) and the likelihood of a Republican US president, there might be a 3d world war within a decade or so, a more devastating one than previous 2 combined.

Maryooleys, buy a land in baadiyaha back home and pack your shit already. Image

That might work out well for us. With intelligent leaders we can pander to each side and play them against one another...oh who am I kidding? We're screwed.

People really went overboard w/the Ukraine stuff. It just pushed Russia into China's hands.

China/Russia could never agree on satisfying terms for oil, so China had to scour the whole world to look for resources but kept getting kicked like Sudan, Libya, places in East Africa etc.

But when Russia had no choice and was faced with sanctions, all of a sudden China got a major boost in energy security since Russia was forced to make deals to sustain their economy.

It's basically Europe/Germany that is losing out, and a lot of German industrialists are pissed.

All the other sources are vulnerable to US disruption. The US controls the seas.
Without secure sources of energy the US can turn the tap off anytime it wants, just like it did to Japan in 1940 .
Japan had the choice of surrendering dishonorably to the US, or going all out and they did in 1941.
China wants to keep its choices open, and freedom to maneuver.
Its not just oil and gas that the us can intercept, china needs iron ore, nickel, and other metals, which Russia and in future Afghanistan and Iran and pakistans baluchistan region can supply when developed.

as for bieng communist are you confused?
Russia was a free for oil oligarch controlled state open to western banks and corporations since 1991.

Attack the west kulahaa. Putin is scared sh!tless. LOOOOOL He was quoting saying--he wont be president of Russia for life. For a ruthless, power loving dictator to say that, it means, he is defeated. His bottomline is not there. The sanctions are working. I mean, he would be richer as a private citizen than a president. LOL

Looks like Russia may be the first nation in the world to back their currency with the gold standard.....this defies the laws of current world. A new type of war has emerged perhaps ?
The gold standard was a tool of imperial control setup by london
designed to control the worlds currencies through london.
When london got broken by ww1 ww2 the us took over with a modified
gold standard called bretton woods after vietnam led to a leakage of gold from the us.
nixon dropped the gold peg and created the petrodollar.
since 1971 the us dollar was backed noy by gold but the reputation of its economy and its military power alone.
this is no longer the case today.

putin is not using a gold standard he is simply exchanging nearly useless dollars for gold.
this is helped by the fact thatthe US has been artificially setting the world gold price too low to hike up thr value of tge dollar

Russia sells oil and gas and other goods for dollars but instead of buying us treasury bills they are buying physical gold for their reserves to prepare for future change in direction of the economy.

currently the whole world is forced to cater to foriegn investors I.e western financial institutions that will use your own reserves to invest in your economy. You cannot use your reserves of currency yourself you have to allow them to do it for you.
this is how the system is setup.

what if you replace your useless foreign reserved for gold and the currency of your main trade partners.
you can then create your own money and invest in your own economy.
only china has been doing this and you can see the results.
the asian tigers also did it too while at the same time opening up to foreign investors.
but after 1997 crisis they were brought back in to line and today they depend on western investors.

So how can we as a people disentangle ourselves from the dollar grip? This all hypothetical of course and assumes we won't be bombed into smithereens by the US/E.U.

I think we had this discussion a while back whereby we agreed on more than one type of currency; one for saving (backed by a commodity e.g. gold), one for circulation and for buying goods and another type but I can't quiute remember wha it's purpose was.
