Many Somalis major in health related or engineering related. Are there any Somalis who major in linguistics

What types of jobs do they have?

I know some Somali girls that are majoring in that. They plan on becoming a Speech Pahthologist.

My cousin has a BA in linguistics.....she works at the UN.
She has had various roles in the different UN agencies....she was based in Nairobi for years, flying to Mog/Hargeisa every week.

To be honest sxb I haven't seen or spoken to her in years.
If your interested in such work I'd advise you study hard and apply for internships etc with as many organisations as possible.
PS The EU in Brussels is normally easier to get into.
