What are you doing in Fort Myers you luck saqajan, never knew we had Somalis there.

Xamud,I'm from Ne Africa bro not Somalia.However I don't understand why more people especially immigrants accustomed to hotter climates,don't move to places like Fl,Az,Nv,Tx & Ca?

The cost of living in most of these states excluding California imo are worth moving to.

I agree, but I think they tend to og for colder places because of the jobs, there's more jobs, and sometimes better pay. States or cities with hotter climates tend to be more populous with lesser jobs.

What's Florida like in terms of jobs.

Honestly,it's a wash.Also varies greatly what part of Florida you're talking about,in general the workforce here favors the tourism sector.

Not many tech/ It companies here.Distribution,retail & people in the medical field have it the easiest here.

I'd like to think I have it good.No wife or kid/kids to support,I still live with family so only have to pay half of rent.Most of my money can be spent freely.

I work seasonally out of Ak usually through June-October,Washington state is probably the only other state I'd consider moving to.

Mild weather,outdoor activities & given my line of work it'd be sooooo much easier to secure work seasonally.

Only Spokane tho,west Washington is to spensive.
