I don't think any sane non-somali person would waste their hard earned money to travel to any somali speaking country as a tourist destination.
Those white folks in the video are probably your usual NGO workers used as tourists in the video.

And why didn't they use Somalis. I know lots of landers who go back home, why didn't they use their own people? Somalis never cease to amaze me.

Anyways, tourism is a major source of income for almost all countries, and is the number 1 industry in many places.

Honestly, in many of these coastal areas along our lands, we can make it the top African destination for middle class Africans and/or middle Eastern people for beach resorts. We have beautiful waters.

It would employ or indirectly employ possibly over a 100,000 Somalis. And that will affect all other industries eventually indirectly. People will start to have purchashing power and other industries can come up

The most beautiful spot I saw was when my family tried to make it to the base of Naasa Hablood. We got about half way and we would have made it if we had left earlier in the day. If you get on the road to Berbera, outside of Hargeisa a minute or two past Kaah hotel, there will be a back road to your left just after a white-walled enclosure. Follow that and eventually you'll make it to the base.

There was vegetation every direction I looked, trees lined with what looked like thousands of those big-gullet, large birds, doofaarana yaryar ah. The place was so beautiful that my cousin and I--we were feuding at the time--were so filled with joy we quashed our beef then and there.

I felt like I was truly IN Africa at that moment. The Africa children in the West are conditioned to ideate.

White people tourism will not make somaliland any money.only ngo workers and a few others will be interested. Those guys are better of creating packages for somalis families with children and young people who have grown up in the west. I am baasto this advertisment was aimed at the wrong audience and a thus a waste of money.

at least the guy in the video is an 'insider' of the country.. who cares at the way he speaks or how he produced his advert. he probably never stepped foot in the west, to actually know basic English is good for him.
the uncle toms/ house niggers on here...last time I checked he is Somali not bloody English. bet he's better than most of your parents living here in the west.
