AUN Elman, he tried to rescue a sinking ship alone.

What Sort of Somalinimo have you learnt from this great person?

These are his courageous daughters.

"21 year old Iman Elman is a military commander in the Somali Armed Forces".

"Ilwad Elman runs the Elman Peace and Human Rights Center in Mogadishu with her mom, Fartun."

I remember in 95 around Zoobe & Kilometer 4 areas seeing a lot of ex cayaal darbi kids carrying shoe-polish boxes to work and earn their living and going to literary classes, all established by this great guy (RIP). Sad thing is good people like him tend to be targets for lowlifes and scumbags.

Elman FC was my favorite football club in Mogadisu back in 90's as well (it had a bunch of cayaal Madiino players).

Elman was the first and the last Somali Rasta dreads inside Somalia

dont get fool by the dreads, he was a good muslim, he build mosque near Soba building and use to pray 5 times a day. people said sometimes they use to see him and kids praying Jameeca near streets of Mogadishu.

Alshabab killed lot of intellectual people like him :(
if one doesn't know anything, one must not speak

his death was political assassination..
I don't call political assassination but barbarian assassination when lowlifes like alshabab aka scumbags target intellectual people
