No it doesn't. If you are talking language groups, then you mean AFRO-ASIATIC. And the Afro-Asiatic languages (formerly referred to as Hamitic languages) also includes Chadic (which is spoken in central and west africa), Omotic (spoken in southern ethiopia), and Semitic (which includes Arabic and Hebrew). Hamitic is an outdated term that is no longer used in academia. And academics stopped using it for good reason. It was created from racist origins that lacked any scientific credibility.

Hamites or the Hamitic theory was created in the 1800s by European anthropologists as a means of explaining why there were great civilizations in Africa (like Ancient Egypt, Nubia, etc.) Because the europeans of that time were working from a racist worldview in which black people were incapable of making sophisticated civilizations, they formulated the Hamitic hypothesis as a means of explaining the existence of civilization in Africa. The theory postulated that the Hamites, a race of "dark skin Caucasians" (whatever that means) came down from Asia into Africa. With them they brought civilization. They conquered the negro tribes to the south, mixed with them (producing populations like the Somali), and created civilizations like Egypt and Nubia/Kush. These psedo-scientific madness even extended all the way into Southern Africa claiming that it was Hamites who created the ancient city in Zimbabwe.

There is no historical, genetic, or archaelogical evidence of some great migration of "dark skin Caucasians" into Africa creating the civlizations in Egypt, Nubia, or Zimbabwe. Those were all created by the indigenous African populations. This "theory" was entirely the creation of the racist european mind. The fact some of you like to continue to propogate this myth and continue to use this termininology is EMBRASSING. The modern egyptians are our brothers in islam. The ancient egyptians were probably related to us culturally and physically. However, I would suggest that you REFRAIN from perpetuating WHITE SUPREMACIST IDEOLOGY.
