Hyper- yeah middle east houses are very expensive. I was in Dubai not too long ago and the houses are very expensive. I have seen houses that are 3 million dirham. Waan ka soo cararay meesha

Blackrain, everyone I know who wanted to invest in Detroit dropped their idea as soon as they looked into it. The real estate market is unlikely to rise again anytime soon since everyone else is purchasing homes for $10k and sitting on them. Property taxes, back taxes etc etc...look into well before you do anything man.

If you want dirt cheap real estate with the potential to rise a lot in the next couple of decades: check Russian or Argentine real estate.

Buy low, sell high.

It's a good investment and alot of cadaan people are secretly buying up properties. Sooner or later, people would once again move up north.

In 20yrs when global warming and droughts makes the rest of the country un livable, the natural progression of movements would be to go North.

Ur property value would double and quadruple in value.

Good call in making Africa ur home also.
