My parents and siblings who were born back home all have September 4. They took the date of the youngest child born in Mogadishu. That date was actually legit.

I don't know why every Somali chose January 1st; you had a choice

I am,

Abdi "Happy Birthday" Johnson

I remember there was a time, there still is, when Somali youth were regularly getting into trouble with the police.
One copper was being interviewed and he mentioned that when arresting delinquent Somali's, they give their name and date of birth as Abdi- 1st Jan and the computer explodes.
ps I think they got some Somali proof software now.
