Ximan those guys were banned or are being spied on just in case they say something sacrilegious.

I'm more interested to see the opinion of the diehard Somali preservationists i.e. TheMailMan, zumaale and itrah.

This is going to be entertaining to watch.

Oh shit did someone just ask for an atheist's opinion?

Religions are interesting to study and reveal a lot about human nature.

Paging Zubeir, though. He claims not to sit and spin on Arabic ceeb yet he still hasn't answered why Somalis abandoned Waaq for Islam.

Why is this guy putting up Somali music

I really like his presentation and delivery. Great researcher. He posted another video about the Somali Ajuran Empire which I found super interesting

I've known about the "Waaq religion" for some time now, and I did some online research about what some other Somalis have written on the internet regarding this. And I found this amazing post by some Somali brother in another forum who talks about this perfectly:
Allah has been worshiped in every society, and Allah has sent Prophets and Messengers to every single country, including Somalia. Only 25 Prophets were mentioned in the Quran, but there were thousands of more Prophets who were never mentioned and we don’t know their names. But every single Prophet commanded his people to worship Allah Alone, to be conscious of your Lord, to prepare for your inevitable Meeting with your Lord, and to have a righteous character and to obey Him. This is without exception, and even the earliest archaeological records prove the Islamic belief that Allah has sent Prophets to every nation and society on Earth, at some point in time. Everywhere from Australia to Somalia to Mexico to Russia, etc. So if our ancient forefathers were monotheists who worshiped “Waaq”, or whatever they wanted to call Him, then so be it. Good for them, mashaAllah. The Hebrews refer to Allah as “Elohim”. The Christians refer to Allah as “Jehovah”. I’m sure the Turks and the Pakis and the French also have their own unique word to refer to God, based on their language. What “name” you call God is irrelevant (as it varies based on the language), as long as you’re referring to the same Creator, the same God who you worship Alone with no partners. This is basic Islamic theology and you’re actually brain-dead if you’re not aware of this at the age of 30 Your parents should be ashamed of themselves.

Quran 12:40 “You worship not besides Him except [mere] names you have named them, you and your fathers, for which Allah has sent down no authority. Legislation is not but for Allah . He has commanded that you worship not except Him. That is the correct religion, but most of the people do not know.”

Quran 6:161 “Say, “Indeed, my Lord has guided me to a straight path – a correct religion – the way of Abraham, inclining toward truth. And he was not among those who associated others with Allah.”
This is concise, to the point, and it addresses the crux of the matter. Alhamdulilah

These Somali Atheists love to talk about "Waaq this" and "Waaq that" without realizing that Guidance comes from Allah Alone, and that the truth is universal.

Islam applies to the Somali as well as the Turk and the Chinaman and the Arab and the Mexican and the Indian and the German and the Bantu. It's a religion for all mankind and it applies to all humans equally. It's the Guidance sent by our Lord to do what's right, forbid what's wrong, and to worship Allah Alone.

This is Islam, and this is what irritates atheist savages like X.Playa and Saxony so deeply

The Somali people in pre-islamic times practiced a complex Monotheistic religion with a set of Deities superseded by a single all powerful figure called Eebe (God also known as Waaq). The Equillibrium of the Universe in Somali Mythology was tied with the Love (Gacal ) and between the beloved (Gacalo) or the sky Bull and the Cow cow hindu ?

Eebe: Eebe is the Somali word for God and was synonymously used for the ancient Sky God Waaq. According to Somali Legend Eebe lived in the Heavens and whenever the Somalis successfully prayed for rain it was known as Bar-waaqo (God's rain) Bar means rain in Hindu too
Eebe (Allah) is still used in Somalia mainly by Abgaals

I keep telling u guys Somalis are descendants of Indians
