God bless them all , we love them . However one must understand the point we somalilanders are attempting to make here .
Beyond the exotic/ distant/ foreign for this reason unique "flavor" having a somali part in your ethnic heritage along with your European , Asian, other African or American ancestry can bring to Amina caddey or anybody else up there , we somalilanders are STRICTLY DRIVEN BY SELF PRESERVATION here .

Somalilanders can not be Half Somalis because Somali is our own ethnicity. How ever if one of your parents is from Somalia e.g mogadishu kismayo etc, then you are actually half Somalian. The name Somalian is the nationality of those who are from somalia ONLY. For example Gurgure (somali people that lives in dire dawa) are Somalis but not Somalilans as they are not and never been citizens of Somali republic !
