Never denied that Somalis of the past were manly and brave. However things have drastically changed since then, and most Somali men are nothing but an effeminate pieces of scumbags. Us Somalis males have been a failure to our gender and ethnicity. But afcourse most Somali guys won't admit it, since it hurts their ego.

I don't agree with the generalization but I have witnessed loads of fobs who were very soft. I always assumed it was a culture picked up in Nairobi, those Hindi watching, hair straightening nyggas. I also think we have been conditioned in the west, as I felt very uncomfortable when an uncle held my hand as we walked down a street. I have even seen a group of men watching a Somali singer on YouTube discussing his looks. I don't think they are aware of that the boundary they crisscrossed into

I did some voluntary work in schools/colleges a few years.there were one or two camp somalis, probably a few more than 15 years.that said, somali boys in general had a stereotype of being, loud, aggressive.my only problem is that we generalising and using outdated labels to define masculinity. Where did I mention that holding hand is effeminate? It's best you read my initial post instead of assuming things. Also I never used the physique of Somalis to discuss their effeminate trait. Though physique is a good indicator of masculinity,it has been since ancient time. The stronger the man the more masculine, there is no hidden secret.

My examples, were how they talked, walked, carried themselves, their composure, body-language, excessive use of hand gestures.

Also I have already mentioned that different culture's have different views of masculinity and effeminate, and I already said these things can be descriptive. However there are things that aren't descriptive and can be seen straight from the eyes, such as those examples I have given.
