Hey, Phinks.
I still stand by my statement. If this girl isn't yours and I's perception of "beauiful" then believe me there is someone out there who will find her captivating, beauitful and sexually enticing.
I honestly doubt it. Her hair is too short, she doesn't have a youthful look to her and she's just too plain looking. There is nothing attractive about her Amira, nothing.
females are pressured into looking certain way to be "attractive" look at the why the media and the magazine's sell us these skeletal framed, fair skinned, narrowed-nosed cadaan women as the ultimate beauty. It's very dangerous for young girls coming of age to be exposed to such harsh statements and its extremely careless to label anyone who Isn't all those things you've listed above as "Ugly".
This isn't about race Amira.
These features I listed above apply to all women. There
are beautiful African/Asian women who would destroy most white females in looks. I'm talking about the individuals
Sexual Economic Value. Race has nothing to do with it. Let's be honest, most White/Asian women don't like dating black men and would rather scoff at the idea or just roll their eyes. But what if these very same women met Idris Elba? Or Will Smith? If they turned up at her door step they could anal her raw on the side of a desolate rural road and film the whole thing with her permission. You know why? Because their sexual economic value is high. Get it now?
“Every girl is expected to have Caucasian blue eyes, full Spanish lips, a classic button nose, hairless Asian skin with a California tan, a Jamaican dance hall ass, long Swedish legs, small Japanese feet, the abs of a lesbian gym owner, the hips of a nine-year-old boy, the arms of Michelle Obama and doll tits. The person closest to actually achieving this look is Kim Kardashian ... everyone else is struggling” (Fey, 2011: 23)." This made me chuckle nevertheless its food for thought.
It's too specific. The features I listed above are what men truly want. And can I also point out a flaw in your argument? You say that females are pressured to look attractive by the media right?
THEN WHAT ABOUT MEN??!!
Men are pressured to have a six-pack, to be over six feet, to have broad shoulders and stacks of cash. I just find it hypocritical on how you speculate that the media tells women how to be attractive but completely ignore how it affects men.
